Multi-site infrastructure, in production.
Three Canadian engagements. One discipline. Remote-first, six integrated systems, end-to-end ownership. Designed and proven on the NATIONS Cannabis buildout. Carried forward to every site since.
The buildout that defined the standard.
Multi-year engagement as the contracted Computer & Information Systems Manager for a 36,500 sq-ft Federal cannabis producer being built from the ground up.
The facility was designed and constructed to EU GMP standards — the international export-grade compliance bar. The IT and infrastructure had to clear that bar from day one, not retrofit to it.
Selvatec handled the full IT buildout from the building infrastructure level. Five individually-controlled, isolated triple-tiered grow rooms; mother, clone, dry, trim, and swing rooms; dewaxing and distillation; packaging; lab; dispensing — all on a 36,500 sq-ft floor plan that needed network, surveillance, and security working consistently across cultivation, processing, lab, and office zones.
Scope delivered
- Building-wide network architecture — server room, DMZ segment, air-shower-protected cleanroom zones, segmented per compliance role
- Enterprise server stack with regulator-grade redundancy
- Surveillance infrastructure across cultivation, processing, lab, and office (regulator-grade retention)
- Environmental controls network — sealed-room HVAC, programmable LED, custom irrigation
- Custom software for harvesting workflows
- Cannabis strain research support
- Full procurement and vendor coordination for the new-facility IT outfit
Floor plans, architectural render, and site.

Key-Oh Portfolio — Hotel, Lodge, Office.
Three hospitality sites. One standard. Break/fix patchwork replaced with one documented foundation a small team can run without surprise.
The work was scoped as a multi-site infrastructure project, not a series of fixes. Three sites now share one network spine, one wireless standard, one camera retention policy, one documented environment.
Three sites, one standard
- Key-Oh Office — administrative connectivity and operational systems
- Key-Oh Hotel — guest-facing Wi-Fi, surveillance, operational tech stability
- Key-Oh Lodge — property-wide connectivity and infrastructure modernization
Crossroads Cannabis — multi-location retail infrastructure.
Retail IT for regulated cannabis across multiple BC locations. Network, surveillance, POS, all on a multi-site standard.
Licensed cannabis retail demands reliable surveillance, stable POS, and strict operational control. Compliance isn't optional and it isn't retrofittable — it's built in from the ground.
Three interlocking layers
- Retail network infrastructure — segmented for security, sized for operational systems
- Surveillance systems — supporting security and regulatory compliance
- POS connectivity — stable through peak retail traffic
Custom software shipped during this engagement
Operational tooling the infrastructure layer alone couldn’t provide. Built for Crossroads, with one adjacent piece commissioned by Swens Ventures Ltd, a separate BC micro-processing startup.
