Selvatec is the corporate successor to a 20-year IT practice that operated across commercial, institutional, and government environments in Canada from 2000 to 2020. The current managed service practice carries forward that methodology, tooling, and personnel into a tight, standardized operation focused on multi-site property infrastructure.

What we do

Managed IT for properties that can't afford to fail.

We install and run your network and voice, Wi-Fi, surveillance, access, site connectivity, and automation. Six systems on one architecture, monitored around the clock through automation, our team, and AI. On-site response in BC when hands are needed.

The work spans hospitality (boutique hotels, lodges, vacation rentals), regulated retail (cannabis and similar), residential estates, and the commercial spaces where the infrastructure just has to work.

The current standard was built on a multi-year EU GMP-grade cannabis cultivation project that closed in 2020. A 36,500 sq-ft new build where the network had to clear international export-grade compliance from day one. Six integrated systems, tight architecture, compliance-grade documentation, sized for the full facility lifecycle. Every Selvatec engagement since runs on it.

Audit what's installed, document credentials and topology, replace gear that isn't sized for the operation. Fix the obvious failure points before the next outage.

Install the same standard at every site

Commercial-grade hardware sized to the property. Six systems integrated end-to-end. Documented topology and credentials. Same standard at every property under management, written down so any technician on the team can support it.

03 · MONITOR & MANAGE

Continuous monitoring, on-call response

Live dashboards, alert routing, monthly reports. Issues surface to us before they reach you. Remote-first because that's how one team covers more sites with the same attention; on-site response when hands are needed.

Why managed services

Break/fix is cheaper per visit and more expensive per year.

Most multi-site properties accumulate technology one fix at a time. Three different installers built the wireless. Five different vendors hold credentials. Cameras record but no one reviews them remotely. The infrastructure works until it doesn't, and when it doesn't, no one knows where to start.

Managed services replace that with a single standard, owned end-to-end. The same architecture at every site, documented, monitored, and backed by ongoing oversight. The result isn't excitement. It's a quiet weekend.
